Troubleshooting and solutions
1.1. Power On Failure
Ensure proper installation of the 9V battery with attention to the correct polarity and turn the knob to power on. If the power indicator light does not illuminate, it indicates a lack of power connection and suggests replacing the battery. (Note: This device consumes a considerable amount of power. A new battery provides approximately 1 hour of normal operation, so remember to turn off the device when not in use promptly)
2. Beeping Upon Startup
A beeping sound upon powering on signifies the need for initialization settings. Consult the table on the rear of the machine for the specific initialization settings considering the diamond's temperature and size. Adjust the initial number of illuminated lights by rotating the knob (the default setting is to have 4 lights illuminated at room temperature).
3. Weak or No Sound from Test Pen
Ensure correct installation and adequate power in the test pen battery. Also, clean the test pen probe as maintaining its cleanliness can enhance testing efficacy.
4. High-Frequency Sound when Testing Metal
The high-frequency sound during metal testing is due to the test pen's operational principle, which relies on thermal conductivity to distinguish between diamonds and fake gemstones. Since metal possesses thermal conductivity similar to diamonds, it generates a high-frequency sound during testing.
5. Compatibility with Gemstone Testing While the test pen primarily distinguishes between diamonds and fake gemstones, it may not effectively test other gemstone varieties. For accurate testing of different types of gemstones, it is advisable to seek confirmation from a professional gemstone identification institution.

1. Real Diamond (including Moistness): The tester pen will emita low-frequency beeping sound (1 time/second) and the red lamp box on the level meter will light up (the larger the stone, the more red lamp boxes will light up)
2.Fake Diamond: When testing imitation stones like cubic zircon (CZ), crystal, or glass, there will be no sound and the red lamp will not light up.
3.For Metal: This machine CANNOT be used to test metal. If metal is accidentally tested, the machine will emit a high-frequency beeping sound and the red lamp will not light up.
Pay attention to both the light bar display and sound when interpreting the test results!

Precautions
