Affix quilting fork pins or u-shaped hooks to the foam and then thread string, organza ribbon, jute twine, leather strands, or suede cord. You can also use a quilting needle to thread fine yarn or twine directly through the shape.
What embellishments can I use and what is the best way to apply them?
Glue is an excellent way to apply glitter, fabric, strings of pearls, crystal rhinestones, tiny satin bows, poms-poms, lace, sequins, fabric flowers, moss, and more. Stick pearlized ball head pins and plastic and metal studs directly into the shapes.
