How to Get The Base Plate Right (1)
- Take 2 Fixing Screws and attach them to the Thread Stand and Thread Spool Stud as shown.
How to Get The Base Plate Right (2)
- Make sure the two holes within the base plate are on your right.
- Place the Thread Spool Stud on the top hole.
- Place the Thread Stand on the bottom hole.
How to Get The Base Plate Right (3)
- Tighten the screws downwards as shown.
How to Get The Base Plate Right (4)
- Rotate the Thread Stand and the Thread Spool Stud clockwise to tighten them further.
Two Black Sensors
The position of the sensors can be adjusted by using a screwdriver. If your bobbin does not fit at first or the bobbin winder stops unexpectedly during use, definitely try and adjust the sensors first.
Tangent Line of Your Circle(Bobbin)
The edge of your bobbin should be in line with the middle point of the sensors. This is the reason that our bobbin winder stops on its own: the sensors will detect the fullness of your bobbin and will then stop the motor.
Tension Knob/ Tension Adjustment Disc
This is the tension adjustment disc. You can adjust the thread tension by rotating the tension knob clockwise or counterclockwise.
Start & Stop Buttons / Thread Cutter
To start or continue the winding process, simply press the "START" button; To stop winding, press the "STOP" button. The HimaPro Automatic Bobbin Winder will stop on its own once the bobbin is full of threads. Then you can pull out your bobbin and cut the thread by using the thread cutter on the side.
