Product Description
Smooth-On Dragon Skin 20 is a High-Performance, 2-Component Translucent Platinum Cure Liquid Silicone Rubber Compound. It’s excellent physical
properties allow it to cure with a soft yet super-strong and very stretchy composition - making it ideal for skin effects, special effects, movie effects, and
production applications. It’s also lab-tested certified skin-safe and is reliable for creating prosthetics and cushioning applications. Dragon Skin 20 can be easily colored with Silc Pig pigments and/or painted with Psycho Paint when cured.
Easy to use - Dragon Skin silicones are mixed 1A:1B by weight or volume, offer a 25-minute pot life / working time, and cure to a solid rubber in 4-hours. Dragon Skin 20 liquid rubber can be thinned with Silicone Thinner or thickened with THI-VEX. Rubber cures at room temperature (73°F/23°C) with negligible shrinkage. Vacuum degassing is recommended to minimize air bubbles in cured rubber.
Because no two applications are quite the same, a small test application to determine suitability for your project is recommended if performance of this material is in question. Refer to technical bulletin for more information available at Smooth-on website.
